Yerushalayim

The family has been very amenable in going along with my plans.

On Sunday, I dragged the family to the mall for a scavenger hunt (well, really Sivan).  I'll attach a picture of her list she had to take pictures of.

Then yesterday, we had a GREAT day in Jerusalem.  Sivan loves the Old City (or rather buying things), and we actually wandered into the Christian quarter and saw Church of Holy Sepulcher. Felt like a different country!  Then while kids stayed in parents apartment for a couple hours, Adam and I did a super fast shopping of downtown...and finally got an AWESOME challah board (Jerusalem stone) and a gift for his parents (which I might just keep because I love it so much...:) ).  And it was just nice to have some time without the kids (sorry kids, but it was).

Then we took kids to Gan HaPaamon after enjoying delicious fruit shakes (mint/mango is an awesome combo), and then walked to windmill and then back to parents apartment.

Adam and I had an awesome expensive night out with Michal and Yehuda.  It was great!

Now here's the mystery....
According to my parents the kids fell asleep like 10 minutes after Adam and I left to go to dinner.
REALLY????  they must have drugged them.  My children refuse to go to sleep.  Always.  It's never easy.  So, honestly, I think I'm just going to send them to my parents more often. :)  Maybe...just maybe my parents DO know how to parent.  Huh.  :)  Thank you Ima and Aba :)

how good is this?

 yemin moshe...

yasmine tries "Rimon juice" (pomegranite...) a little early in the season...bitter!!!
adam loves it.  i don't think he has bitter tastebuds...
